SCHOOL VISITS & WORKSHOPS
WITH ONE OF THE YOUNGEST AUTHORS IN THE WORLD
In August of 2026, I went on my first international book tour for the release of Valaztein.
I had the absolute privilege of visiting 10 schools and speaking with over 700 students across Bogotá & Miami.
At each school, I shared my story as a young author and founder. I spoke about the publishing world, my characters, artistic inspiration, writer's block, and everything the students had questions on.
Through collaborative writing workshops, we explored the power storytelling has on our minds and societies.
As humans, we are hardwired to tell stories. And in the making of our art, we give so much of who we are—our culture, our memories, our loves. To spend a hundred pages experiencing the world through someone else's eyes; that's the purest form of empathy I know.
WHAT STUDENTS
& EDUCATORS
are saying
"Ramos' story showed our students that resilience, determination, and the courage to pursue one's dreams have no age."
- Adriana Carvajalino, Knightsbridge Schools International
"Through Ramos' experience, our students explored new ways to build stories, breathe life into their ideas, and discover writing as a form of expressing what they imagine, feel, and want to share. It was more than a workshop; it was an invitation to create and to recognize that each story can be the beginning of a new world of possibilities."
- Catalina Zuleta Triana, La Fontana Academy
"Our visit with Emilia Ramos was a moment where the magic of storytelling was palpable. The students witnessed that the marvelous worlds that exist in their minds and imagination truly can be made real."
- Erika Silva, Gimnasio Campestre
